Review Date: 2/27/2007 Service Date: 2/27/2007 Services Rendered: Veterinarian Comments: I've recently utilized the services of Dr. Wessels. First to help diagnose my sick 14 year old cat. My Veterinarian of 8 years misdiagnosed leaving the cat to suffer for an additional time before obtaining a second opinion from Dr. Wessels. Unfortunately, my cat had cancer and had to be put down. However, the way Dr. Wessel handled it was very professional and obviously very accurate. She even made a donation on behalf of my cat to a research center down at UIC. I was touched to receive a card from them showing sympathy for the loss of my cat but also informing me of Dr. Wessel's donation. Since this event in Sept. 2006 I've utilized this facility for my dog. I took advantage of their boarding service and while she was there she received her shots. I was really impressed with the daily diary I received while my Dog was in their care. Not only did she diagnose our dog on the first visit, but she corrected the problem immediately. What a relief it was to find a caring, knowledgeable vet that we could trust. That was over 2 years ago and since then she has become our permanent vet for both our dogs. She has built a wonderful animal hospital, and her staff has always been friendly and helpful. We can't say enough about Animal Wellness Center--we highly recommend them!
